About the role:

Hours:

  • Full-time (08.30 – 14.30 from Monday to Friday)
  • Part-time roles may be available.
We are looking to complement our team of dedicated teaching staff with an experienced teacher or tutor who can contribute to a holistic educational experience.
 
We welcome applicants from secondary and primary education and the ideal candidate will be a passionate educator who can supplement our curriculum with their expertise.
 
We are open to specialists in Art & Design, Humanities, ICT/Digital Skills, RSHE, Citizenship, and Personal Development.
 

Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that facilitate active learning experiences.
  • Build strong relationships with students and manage behavior in accordance with our behavior management policy.
  • Use adaptive teaching methods to ensure students can access the curriculum.
  • Create a positive and engaging classroom environment conducive to learning.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
  • Contribute to the day-to-day running of the center.
  • Support classes and work with learners individually when required.
  • Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and behavior.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree, teaching certification, or extensive experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the subject matter.
  • A full UK driving license is desired but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt learning to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Proficient in using technology.

All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check.
