The Highlights of 2023/2024

The academic year has finished and we’ve made some great memories. From countless trips, hundreds of lessons, ups and downs, here are some of our hardworking staff members most fond memories:
What was your favourite day of this year?
Natasha: I took a group of students to a music studio just outside the city centre, seeing them learn from the producers there to create their own tracks and music video was such a good feeling!!
Chloe: My favourite day was the day Lily and Macie started with us, I spent the entire day with Carmen, Kelsey, Lily and Macie. From lessons to a walk and diamond art, it was lovely to see the girls connect.
Dan: “Beach day (until our bags were almost washed away by the incoming tide).”
What is one moment you will always remember?
Natasha: “Singing along to Adele in my car with Areeb and Coben!!”
Chloe: “I’ll never forget Reco falling asleep on the back of the minibus after the zoo, just a happy lad after a long day.”
Dan: “The staff vs students football games. A battle of the ages.”
What is one moment you felt proud?
Natasha: “Being on the 1-1 mentoring sessions and seeing the students being respectful and polite to members of the public and doing us proud!”
Chloe: “Watching the KS4 boys being respectful and engaged in a workplace setting at my dad’s business. You could really see the men they could grow up to be. “
Dan: “Scarlett’s last day at Ace. The progress she made with us before her reintegration was a very proud moment.”
What are you looking forward to next year?
Natasha: “I look forward to the opening of the 3rd site and our new Beauty Therapy Department.”
Chloe: “I’m excited to see some students mature as they near the end of their school life, and helping them achieve to the best of their ability.”
Dan: “Offering more subjects and qualifications for our students.”
