A look back on our opening year…

In March 2023 we opened our doors. Not quite a grand opening but a quiet welcome into the world of alternative provision. With our learning center newly decorated and primed for teaching, we were ready for the journey of a new adventure.
Our new dawn quickly became a call to action. Within two weeks of opening, our eagerly anticipated first student arrived. Shortly followed by another. Then another. Then a handful more.
We had a community. With that, came some memorable highlights. From visits to The National Football Museum, our first reward trip to Go Karting, kick-boxing sessions and of course, the hard-earned personal and academic progress our students made.
By the end of the school year, each of our students had earned a spot on the reward trip, and on our final day of term we battled it out at Laser Quest followed by a nutritious meal (McDonald’s). We are extremely proud of all our students from the 22/23 school year and the hard work they put toward meeting their personal targets and academic goals.
Finally, we would like to thank the people that dedicated their time, advice and help to us in our setting up stage and first year in business. With this support, we have been able to provide our services to the young people of Greater Manchester.
In no particular order, we would like to thank:
- Katy from the Manchester Inclusive Alternative Provision Strategy
- Darryl & Mark
- Lindsay, Tex & Christine
